Our story began on this land 11 years ago and evolved into a family home with an extended Bed & Breakfast. When the homeowner (Valentina) was 21 years old, she left her home in Turin and went to Spain (Bolonia in Andalucia) to immerse herself in a nature building experience. There she began working with land art, sustainable design, and permaculture with Luciano Furcas of Galeria de Arte Elemental. At the EcoVillage near Elemental, Valentina also volunteered with the culinary arts and the microbiotics program.
It was through this life experience that the vision of Nature Salvage Eco and Art Project was born. As Nature recharges the Soul, we help to connect People to Nature and Life. The young woman who left Spain with a dream came to the foothills of the Damanhur to build an Eco Project that now ecompasses 1.5 hectares of land with a forest habitat.
Nature Salvage looks to the future with dreams of creating permaculture gardens, artist collaborations, building a bio-piscina (pool) and compost toilets, creating a chicken coup, and continued practices of reducing, reusing, and recycling through Art.
