Ananda Valley project was born as a dream with solid background: 60 skilled volunteers focused on different aspects of six complementary associations, and a clear direction: “together, a better world is possible”. Deep ecology, sustainable agriculture, vegetarianism, life-long learning, art, social service and social activism are the focus areas of these non-profit associations.
Our Aims are: to create a model for sustainable 21st century living, based on neo-humanistic values and all-round service, which will be a replicable educational, research and service resource for society at large; to act as a social hub, bringing together people who are interested in music and the arts, education, culture, health, economics, innovative scientific techniques and consciousness studies; to help improve the quality of life of all living beings, both human and non-human, and to create a supportive environment which provides for the needs of the residents and the surrounding community within a governance framework based on sociocratic principles; to strengthen the local economy and the surrounding communities, through interaction and by helping them in their efforts to become self-reliant in terms of food and energy as well as through the creation of employment opportunities; to promote a healthy and ecological lifestyle, supportive of activities that lead to joy and happiness and stimulate the regeneration of biodiverse sustainable ecosystems.

Hello lovely people !
I am a 25 year old Frenchie from Paris, I have been teaching yoga and baking for a cafe in Dublin for the last two years.
Joaquin is a 31 year old Mexican who use to be an accountant and traded the corporate life to manage and barista for a cafe-restaurant-event place in Dublin for the last 4 years.
Together we have taken a year off to travel around the world and discover and learn from communities that live differently.
We are both traveling down to Portugal in two weeks (4th – 20th) and would love to spend a couple weeks with you. We are both super enthusiastic, to work and learn from you, in any areas you would be needing help in. We have our own tent and can pitch it in your garden !
We would absolutely love to exchange working hours for accommodation, and be a part of what looks like a fantastic place.
Let us know what you think, and have a fabulous day !

Hi Carolina, I think/hope that the Volunteers Team already replied to you. In any case, please write to [email protected] for more information, usually would be good to send a CV and a motivation letter, to understand better who you are, why you are interested, how can we make a better world together, step by step. Thank you!
